Valentia Island (in Irish ‘Dairbhre’) is one of Europe’s westernmost inhabited locations, lying off the Iveragh Peninsula in the southwest of County Kerry in Ireland. It is linked to the mainland by a bridge at Portmagee, as well as by a ferry which sails from Reenard Point to Knightstown, the island’s main settlement.
The power of art to inspire and amaze will be celebrated as we turn our festival site into one giant outdoor art gallery and theatre…. Sculpture, performance and dance, film and spoken word are merging in one luscious melting pot of creativity with some of the best national and international artists coming together.
Valentia Isle Festival: where ocean, landscape and people merge in a symphony of natural beauty and shared magical experience
